PDFOtter exists to make everyday digital tasks easy, and to do it without asking you to sign up, pay, or hand over your files. We believe the small utilities people rely on every day should be free and private.
Privacy comes first, by design
Unlike most online tools, PDFOtter does its work entirely inside your web browser. Your files and text are processed on your own device using JavaScript and, where needed, WebAssembly. That means nothing you open here is uploaded to a server, not to us, and not to anyone else. When you close the tab, it's gone.
Why it's free
Running PDFOtter costs very little precisely because there are no heavy servers processing your files. We keep the tools completely free and cover our modest costs with unobtrusive advertising. No paywalls, no "premium" tiers, no watermarks, no daily limits.
